What are we asking for?

We'd like to have Creative Commons Attribution license (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/) to selected images of your products/services in our "soon to be released" board game (see www.gifttrap.com for more details)

Your product/service will be featured as a gift in the game. Gifts are the game's central theme. The game will include 600 unique gifts. We will not include directly comparable/ similar gifts (or competing brands). So the sooner you accept the sooner we can confirm your unique place in the game.

What's in it for you?

Email your digital photos to brandedimages@gifttrap.com (cool images of your brand in action). You must agree to grant us a Creative Commons Attribution license. In return your brand could be included in the game. When your image is shown on a Gift Card we will also include a reference to your website.

POWER NETWORKING GROUP (PNG)

Minutes of Meeting, Feb. 14, 2006

I. Objective
The Burnaby BOT Power Networking Group is a fast paced referral networking group. PNG allows up to 25 members. One person from each profession. There is no membership fee to join PNG, but one
Must be a member of the Burnaby Board of Trade to qualify for membership.
Our primary objective is to exchange qualified business referrals to help each other grow their business. Number of qualified referrals will be tracked. PNG is also formed to help and support the Burnaby Board of Trade. Monthly meetings are held after the BBOT Breakfast Meeting. II. Qualified Referral
Members of the Burnaby BOT Power Networking Group must provide ONE QUALIFIED REFERRAL PER MONTH to any member. Effective since 11, 2005.
Reminder: A qualified Referral is a business owner/manager/decision maker that you have told about a PNG member, and thus expects to be contacted. It is not a guaranteed sale but it gives greater opportunity to discuss business.

Business Networking-Getting started

I was serfing through posts and I found this one which I think is very true,

"To be a successful Networker, whether you are an introvert or and extrovert, you must change your thinking, Networking doesn't happen in your spare time, and it isn't something that can be de-prioritized, or put off until tomorrow. Networking MUST be part of your job, no matter what your "job" is."

In business we so often speak of all of the things we are going to do tomorrow. With the average Canadian working at 130% of capacity tomorrow will just never materialize if you dont take the time to make networking part of your routine, just start doing it and you will be amazed with the results.
